THOMAS MCKENNY

Dentist in Seattle, WA

All our professionals at Thomas F. McKenny, DDS maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in dentistry.

 Dr. Thomas McKenny

Dr. Tom McKenny grew up in Edmonds and completed his undergraduate degree at Washington State University in 1991. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington in 1995. After spending the next four years as a dentist in the Navy, Dr. McKenny decided to stay close to home and joined Dr. Phil Gallaher's practice in 1999. Dr. Gallaher retired in 2007. While not at work, Dr. McKenny enjoys playing soccer, reading and spending time with his family. He and his wife Lisa have three children.

Dr. McKenny chose to be a dentist because he wanted to work with his hands and he very much enjoys the detail that it requires. After considering becoming a physician, he decided that dentistry was a better fit. Looking back on his decision, he knows he made the right one as he takes great pleasure in helping people through healthy smiles.

Andy
Andy is originally from Europe where he attended school from 1993-1996. He chose the dentistry profession because it is an excellent marriage of the art of aesthetics and the science of healing. Andy has worked with Dr McKenny since 2000 and enjoys hearing patients comment, "You guys are a great team!" He also loves working with his hands and seeing people smile as a result of that work. His sweet indulgence is all French desserts. Good company over a table with great food and great wine makes him smile.

Zuzana
Zuzana is from Slovakia. She attended hygiene school at Shoreline Community College from 2001-2003. She also just recently finished massage school. She chose her profession because she enjoys personal contact and health sciences; the overall well-being of the human body is her interest. Zuzana has worked with Dr McKenny for seven years now and appreciates all feedback from her patients, including her shortcomings, so she can constantly grow and improve. Her sweet indulgence is dark chocolate, and simple kid's humor makes her laugh.

Stephanie
Growing up, Stephanie always thought it would be fun to work in a dental office. Her premonitions came full circle when she graduated with honors from one of the top dental hygiene programs in the state, Lake Washington Technical College, and joined Dr McKenny's practice in 2007. Stephanie is very dedicated to her patients. She believes in listening to and addressing their concerns, and strives to give everyone the specialized care they need in order to have a healthy mouth. She is passionate about helping her patients understand the holistic link between good oral health and total body health. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys cooking for her husband, working out and walking her very tiny and very large dogs.

Anglea
Anglea joined the practice in 2006 as Treatment Plan Coordinator. Her combined experience of over 13 years in both the medical and accounting fields allows her to work one-on-one with you to ensure that your dental benefits are utilized to the fullest. She also strives to ensure that your individual financial concerns are taken care of. With a friendly and outgoing disposition, Anglea loves to laugh and share stories with everyone who comes in the door. Patients often comment on calling just to hear Anglea's voice because her phone etiquette is so precise, they often think it is a recording! In her free time, she enjoys needlework, gardening, reading and spending time with her fiancé.

Brittney
Brittney is our youngest and newest staff member. She brings years of customer service from her past experiences in the health and beauty industry. Brittney enjoys the relationships she builds with the patients she meets and is always able to offer warm smiles and kind words. Her bubbly, convivial personality is the best reflection of her Sicilian ancestry. Currently in school, she is interested in furthering her career in dental services. Brittney enjoys playing softball, spending time with friends and family and taking care of her puppy.
